Aggregation, 2017 - Present

2017 marked a turning point in my practice. My artistic process faltered, forcing me to forge a new path and embrace more tactile mediums. I returned to painting—largely absent from my university years—and began integrating the craft practices of my heritage, particularly embroidery and weaving.

Underlying these explorations is my way of seeing the world through “aggregated detail.” Like pointillism on a larger scale, my memories and experiences form as scattered pinpricks of clarity within a wider field. These vivid moments—snapshots of realization—become the building blocks of my work, collecting into a whole that reflects both personal experience and artistic inquiry.
