The human body is central to how we recognize one another, yet distorted self-perception can render it alien and unrecognizable.
This series began as an exploration of the scarring effects of the modern world and the hidden aspects we are taught to conceal. Using technology, I examined parts of my body previously unseen, and as the process unfolded, the images became increasingly distorted—transforming the body into something imposing, estranged, and unfamiliar.
